Separately, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed in a Beijing interview that U.S. authorities have approved the sale of H20 AI chips to China. According to sources, numerous Chinese companies are hastening to place orders, with NVIDIA required to obtain U.S. approval for each transaction. Driven by this positive news, AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) shares jumped 6.41% to $155.61 at Tuesday's close, elevating its market capitalization to roughly $252.31 billion. Concurrently, NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) climbed 4.04% to $170.7, pushing its market cap to approximately $4.17 trillion.
