On July 21, Lenovo Group rose 4.39% in regular trading, trading at HKD 21.98/share, with turnover of HKD 228 million. The rally was driven by multiple catalysts including the companys dominant performance in Chinas first batch of L3-level AI terminal certifications and a series of product launches at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC).

According to results announced at the WAIC forum, a total of 66 devices received the highest L3 assistive-level certification under Chinas first unified national AI terminal standard. Lenovo alone accounted for 42 devices — over 60% of the total — spanning 37 AI PCs, 3 AI smartphones, and 2 AI tablets. Additionally, Lenovo showcased its Wanquan Heterogeneous Intelligent Computing Platform V5.0 and super-node solution capable of housing 40 GPUs per node at WAIC. Morgan Stanley and CICC have both raised their target price for Lenovo to HKD 30, citing strong growth prospects in its AI infrastructure business. Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to Overweight, projecting ISG revenue growth of 74% in fiscal year 2027.
