On the morning of July 29, non-invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) company Wabo Tech announced the completion of its angel round of financing. The investment institutions for this round include Vertex Ventures, Hontai Capital, Future Industry Fund, and Huifengda Venture Capital. The funds raised will be primarily used for the research and development of neural intent models, aiming to advance BCI technology from a single-device setup to a general-purpose intelligent platform, serving as key infrastructure connecting carbon-based and silicon-based intelligence.

Prior to this angel round, Wabo Tech had already completed a seed round funded by Ce Yuan Capital in March 2016, followed by a seed+ round in April. Within three months, Wabo Tech has consecutively completed three funding rounds: seed, seed+, and angel. The company is dedicated to bridging the entire technical chain, including flexible electrodes, signal acquisition, terminal modules, and product deployment, overcoming the bottleneck of BCI systems' inability to be continuously integrated into real-world applications.

Leveraging its "neural intent understanding" capability, the company has developed and launched the Neural Intent Data Platform (NIDP), which establishes a complete pathway encompassing neural acquisition, data processing, model training, edge-side inference, and physical control.
