According to a new announcement from China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited (stock code: 00916), an updated interim dividend for the six months ended 30 June 2025 has been declared. The reason for the update is a revised dividend amount in Hong Kong dollars and an updated exchange rate.

The interim dividend stands at RMB0.10 per share for the period, equivalent to HKD0.1096 per share based on an exchange rate of RMB1 to HKD1.095785. The ex-dividend date is 4 November 2025, with the record date set for 11 November 2025 and the distribution scheduled on 30 December 2025.

The total proposed cash dividend before tax amounts to RMB835,981,616.40, representing approximately 24.77% of the net profit attributable to shareholders (RMB3,374,785,940.63) for the reporting period. The company’s current share capital is 8,359,816,164 shares, of which 5,041,934,164 shares are A shares and 3,317,882,000 shares are H shares. Should the number of issued shares change by the record date, the dividend per share will be adjusted accordingly within the total distribution limit.

Non-resident enterprise shareholders will generally be subject to a tax withholding rate of 10%. Individual non-resident shareholders subject to a 10% tax treaty rate will face the same withholding. Those whose treaty stipulates a 20% rate or who are not covered by a treaty will have 20% withheld. Domestic individual investors and domestic securities investment funds receiving H-share dividends through the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect will have 20% withheld. Domestic enterprise investors are responsible for handling their own tax obligations.
