On April 16, CIDI-NEW announced a strategic cooperation agreement with global mining equipment leader MMD Group Limited. Under the agreement, CIDI-NEW will serve as the exclusive supplier of automated solutions for MMD Group's mining equipment, providing autonomous driving kits and technical support. The two companies will jointly develop cabinless mining trucks, creating a flagship product series tailored for complex mining conditions worldwide. Furthermore, MMD Group will fully adopt CIDI-NEW's cabinless unmanned mining trucks, along with supporting dispatch platforms and charging stations, to form a global demonstration fleet. Leveraging its worldwide marketing network and industry influence, MMD Group will promote and demonstrate these solutions to overseas mining markets. Shenwan Hongyuan previously noted that, as of February 2026, the cumulative deployment of the company's unmanned mining trucks had exceeded 1,500 units, marking the entry of the business into a phase of large-scale implementation. Commercial applications continue to diversify. By the end of 2025, over 3,000 smart buses had been deployed across 11 cities, and cumulative sales of On-Board Units (OBUs) surpassed 14,000 sets. Unmanned heavy-duty trucks have been implemented at the Sino-Vietnamese Puzhai Smart Port, while intelligent perception technology is being further developed across multiple scenarios. The company plans to significantly increase its overseas investments this year to accelerate business expansion in global markets such as Australia, South America, and the Middle East.
