CITIC Securities (CITIC Securities Company Limited) today released its unaudited 2026 interim results, showing sharp top-line and bottom-line expansion for the six months ended 30 June 2026.
Revenue and Profit • Total revenue and other income rose 44.05% year on year to RMB67.18 billion. • Net profit attributable to shareholders jumped 69.60% to RMB23.34 billion. • Basic earnings per share increased to RMB1.53 from RMB0.89 a year earlier. • Return on weighted average equity improved to 7.81% (H1 2025: 4.93%).

Balance-sheet Highlights • Total assets reached RMB2.47 trillion, an 18.64% rise from end-2025. • Equity attributable to owners stood at RMB351.04 billion, up 9.72%. • Gearing ratio edged up to 79.90% (31 Dec 2025: 79.16%). • Net capital at the parent company expanded to RMB181.04 billion from RMB157.15 billion.
Cash Flow • Net cash outflow from operating activities widened to RMB41.98 billion (H1 2025: outflow of RMB13.84 billion), mainly due to higher trading-related cash usage. • Net cash inflow from financing activities swung to RMB53.51 billion, supported by bond and perpetual bond issuances.
Dividend Proposal The Board proposes a cash dividend of RMB0.427 per share (tax inclusive), equivalent to a total payout of approximately RMB6.67 billion, subject to shareholder approval.
Capital Increase Post-Period On 6 August 2026 the company issued 803.73 million new H-shares to its controlling shareholder, China CITIC Financial Holdings, raising RMB16.0 billion. Post-issuance, total shares increased to 15.62 billion and the parent’s stake rose to 23.96%.
Regulatory Capital Key regulatory ratios remained solid: risk coverage 225.31%, capital leverage 12.70%, and liquidity coverage 144.06%, all above regulatory minima.
