New Silkroad Culturaltainment Limited (Stock Code: 472) has issued a circular proposing to change its English name to “New Silkroad Holding Group Limited” and its Chinese name from “新絲路文旅有限公司” to “新絲路控股集團有限公司.” A special general meeting (SGM) is scheduled on 26 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Unit 606, 6th Floor, Emperor Group Centre, 288 Hennessy Road, Hong Kong, where shareholders will vote on this special resolution.

The proposed name change is intended to establish a new corporate image and align with the company’s development direction. It will take effect once approved at the SGM and subsequently registered by the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda. Upon the effective date, there will be no impact on shareholders’ rights, the company’s daily operations, or its financial position. Existing share certificates bearing the former name will remain valid for trading and settlement; no free exchange of share certificates is planned.

According to the circular, the register of members will be closed from 23 February to 26 February 2026 (inclusive). Shareholders who wish to attend and vote at the SGM must ensure the transfer of shares is lodged by 4:30 p.m. on 20 February 2026. Any proxy forms must be deposited at Tricor Investor Services Limited in Hong Kong at least 48 hours before the SGM. Shareholders may choose to attend in person or appoint proxies; attendance in person will automatically revoke any submitted proxy. The company will make further announcements regarding the change of English and Chinese stock short names after completion of the required procedures.
