China Mobile Limited released unaudited customer statistics for the second quarter of 2026, showing continued expansion across its mobile, broadband and cellular IoT businesses.

Mobile Communications • Total mobile customers rose to 1.01 billion, adding 2.12 million subscribers during the quarter and 5.88 million year-to-date. • 5G network customers increased to 686.74 million, underscoring the group’s ongoing 5G migration drive.

Broadband Networks • Integrated broadband network customers—including household, enterprise and dedicated line services—grew to 336.92 million. The segment recorded 3.80 million net additions in the quarter and 7.70 million since the start of 2026.

Cellular IoT • IoT card connections expanded to 1.51 billion. Quarterly net additions reached 7.25 million, bringing cumulative year-to-date additions to 29.58 million.
