Pangaea Connectivity clinches over USD1.00 billion 200 Gb/s photodiode orders amid global AI data-center boom

Pangaea Connectivity Technology Limited (Pangaea Connectivity) has secured new sales contracts that lift its order book to more than USD1.00 billion, according to a voluntary business update filed on 30 June 2026.

The contracts center on 200 Gb/s Indium Phosphide (InP) photodiodes destined for 800G/1.6T optical transceivers used in artificial-intelligence data centers and next-generation AI infrastructure. The bulk of the orders originates from the “Global Manufacturers” highlighted in the company’s 20 January 2026 business update, signalling sustained confidence from leading technology customers in Pangaea Connectivity’s technical capabilities and product quality.

Management noted that the order expansion dovetails with the company’s recent financial performance. For the year ended 31 March 2026, revenue rose 4.8 % to HKD2.23 billion, underpinned by demand in AI-adjacent markets such as GPU-embedded photodiodes and high-capacity industrial laser solutions.

The board expects the enlarged contract portfolio to entrench the company’s role in the AI data-center supply chain and support “sustained commercial momentum through 2027.” Strategic priorities remain focused on high-performance AI data infrastructure, advanced semiconductor laser processing, and early-stage WiFi 8 deployments, with ongoing optimisation of sales, engineering, finance and logistics resources to reinforce global brand recognition and long-term growth.

Shareholders and prospective investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Pangaea Connectivity shares.
