Shares of Primoris (NASDAQ:PRIM) rallied 8.05% in the after-hours session on Monday, following the company's better-than-expected fourth quarter 2024 earnings results.
The construction services company reported quarterly earnings of $0.99 per share, surpassing analyst expectations of $0.75 by a wide margin. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.70 billion, beating the consensus estimate of $1.59 billion.
The strong earnings beat was driven by robust performance across Primoris' business segments. Compared to the year-ago period, earnings grew by 16.47% while sales increased by 12.14% on the back of continued strength in demand for the company's services.
