On the evening of January 22, at the MEITU 2026 annual gathering, Chairman Wu Xinhong announced the granting of a company stock award of 1,357 shares to each employee. It is understood that MEITU's stock code is HK1357, and based on the closing price that day, each employee received an award valued at over 10,000 yuan. Calculated according to the number of employees disclosed in MEITU's August 2025 financial report, the total value of the distributed stock exceeds 20 million yuan.

This marks the third time MEITU has issued stock awards to all employees since its initial public offering in 2016. Previously, the company distributed MEITU shares to its entire workforce in 2021 and again in 2023. Unlike the prior occasions, this latest all-employee stock distribution coincides with MEITU's share price having risen from below HK$1 in previous years to over HK$8.

Furthermore, the annual event featured a global travel fund award with a total value of 200,000 yuan, and each winning employee was granted one additional day of paid leave.
