Chiho Environmental Group Limited (CHIHO ENV) announced that its shareholders overwhelmingly approved the sole resolution at the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on 23 September 2026.
The ordinary resolution grants the Board a general mandate to issue new shares. A total of 0.75 billion votes were cast, with 0.74 billion votes (99.30%) in favor and 5.24 million votes (0.70%) against. As the affirmative votes exceeded 50%, the mandate was duly passed.
All 1.61 billion issued shares were eligible to vote, with no restrictions or abstentions recorded. None of the shareholders had indicated an intention to oppose or abstain in advance.
The meeting was attended, in person or electronically, by all five executive directors—Chairman Fu Tao, Chu Yuejiang, Yao Xiang, Yang Wei and Zhou Shuli—alongside independent non-executive directors Ng Man Fung Walter, Wu Jian and Choi Wai Hong Clifford. Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited acted as scrutineer for the poll.
Trading in CHIHO ENV’s shares has remained suspended since 1 April 2025 pending fulfillment of resumption guidance from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company stated that further announcements will be issued as appropriate.
