Guangdong – Hong Kong Greater Bay Area Holdings Limited (GD-HK Greater Bay Area Holdings) announced that its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 2 April 2026 passed the sole special resolution to change the company’s English name to “Greater Bay Area AI Computing Tech Co., Ltd.” and its Chinese name to “粵港灣智算科技有限公司”.
The proposal received 869.51 million votes in favour, representing 100% of the votes cast, comfortably exceeding the 75% threshold required for special resolutions under Hong Kong listing rules. No votes were cast against the motion and no shareholders abstained.
At the date of the EGM, the company had 1.16 billion issued shares, all of which were entitled to vote. Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited acted as the scrutineer. All members of the board of directors participated in the meeting either in person or via electronic means.
The company will issue a further announcement detailing the effective date of the new name and the corresponding change of English and Chinese stock short names once confirmed.
