Breton Technology Co., Ltd. (1333) has announced that on February 10, 2026, its indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary, AFRICA POWER PLATFORM II LIMITED, entered into a procurement contract with GREEN POWER TECHNOLOGIE for the Ruashi Microgrid Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The contract covers equipment and related services for a 118MW photovoltaic power facility and a 330MWh energy storage system.

Under the agreement, the total contract value is EUR38,551,558.84—plus an additional EUR742,117.51 in interest at a 2.75% rate—allocated toward items such as energy storage battery cabinets, power conversion systems, photovoltaic inverters, microgrid controllers, and associated materials. The contract stipulates a 30% advance payment upon signing, followed by monthly payments from June 30, 2026 to March 30, 2027.

Breton Technology Co., Ltd. will guarantee AFRICA POWER PLATFORM II LIMITED’s payment obligations, with the guarantee period ending two months after the final scheduled payment. According to the announcement, the deal is funded by proceeds from the company’s November 2025 placing, combined with internal resources and bank borrowings.

Company representatives note this project aligns with Breton Technology Co., Ltd.’s strategy of implementing “electric equipment + integrated energy” solutions in regions where mining operations face unstable power supplies. The Ruashi Microgrid Project aims to improve energy efficiency and reduce reliance on diesel power, thereby reinforcing the company’s broader overseas initiatives. The company confirms the transaction constitutes a discloseable transaction under the Listing Rules, as its highest applicable percentage ratio exceeds 5% but remains below 25%.
