Allegion PLC shares surged 12.24% in intraday trading on Thursday, as investors reacted to the lockmaker's second-quarter results that comprehensively beat market expectations and an upward revision to its full-year guidance.

The Dublin-based security products provider reported Q2 adjusted earnings per share of $2.40, exceeding the analyst consensus of $2.22 by 8.11% and climbing 17.65% from $2.04 a year earlier. Revenue rose 12.7% to $1.15 billion, also topping estimates of $1.12 billion. The strong performance was driven by volume growth and price realization in the Americas region, particularly in non-residential and residential segments, while international revenue increased 16.2% despite weaker demand in some European markets.

Allegion raised its full-year 2026 outlook, now forecasting adjusted EPS in the range of $8.85 to $9.00, up from $8.70 to $8.90 previously and above the FactSet consensus of $8.79. The company also lifted its reported revenue growth guidance to 7.5%-8.5% from 6%-8%, citing continued strength in Americas non-residential demand and positive momentum in demand indicators.
