Nokia Shares Climb Over 3% on Expanded Telecom Partnerships in Brazil and Germany

Nokia Oyj (NOK.US) saw its shares rise more than 3% on Monday, trading at $8.01. The increase followed the company's announcement of expanded collaborations with Brazilian telecom operator TIM Brasil and Germany's Deutsche Telekom. In a statement, Nokia revealed that the partnership with TIM Brasil will enable the operator to utilize NVIDIA's AI-RAN platform to deliver AI-driven services to enterprise customers. Nokia will extend its existing network collaboration with TIM Brasil—which previously included 5G network modernization in São Paulo state and preparations for AI services—to cover 14 states across four regions, reaching approximately 42% of Brazil's population. In a separate statement issued earlier on Monday, Nokia and Deutsche Telekom announced they are broadening their cooperation to accelerate the development of cloud-based, disaggregated, and natively AI-supported radio access network (RAN) technology.
