CR HOLDINGS Appoints Liu Taojiang to Lead Hong Kong Stock Investment Banking

On July 20, CR HOLDINGS (ASX: 01911) announced that Mr. Liu Taojiang has officially joined the company as Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong Stock Investment Banking.

Mr. Liu will be fully responsible for the company's investment banking business in the Hong Kong stock market, overseeing business strategy and team management. His focus will be on providing full-cycle services for Greater China enterprises, including pre-IPO financing, initial public offerings, and post-listing capital operations. He is committed to uncovering corporate value through deep industry insights and crafting tailored integrated solutions for clients.

Concurrently, by coordinating internal and external resources and enhancing collaboration between investment banking and the global sales network, he will drive the efficient execution of projects, continuously solidifying the company's leading position in the cross-border capital markets.

Mr. Liu brings over 15 years of investment banking experience and holds qualifications as a sponsor and an authorized person for takeovers and mergers approved by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. He was part of the founding team for Huatai's Hong Kong investment banking operations.

Prior to joining CR HOLDINGS, he served at Huatai Financial Holdings' Investment Banking Department as Head of the Infrastructure & Urban Services Industry Group and Head of Hong Kong Mergers & Acquisitions, specializing in overseas listings and cross-border M&A for companies in the innovative economy sector.

Mr. Liu holds a Master's degree in Global Political Economy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Hong Kong.

He has accumulated extensive experience in Hong Kong IPO sponsorship and underwriting, equity and convertible bond placements for refinancing, as well as cross-border and Hong Kong stock M&A. He has crafted several industry-pioneering M&A transaction structures, such as H-share offer-and-repurchase privatizations and mandatory general offers leading to delistings, setting market precedents.

He possesses deep expertise across sectors including semiconductors, AI infrastructure, automotive autonomous driving, robotics, new energy, culture and entertainment, as well as traditional finance and real estate. He has also participated in landmark transactions such as the IPO underwriting for HashKey Holdings, one of Hong Kong's first licensed digital asset exchanges, demonstrating keen insight into frontier technology and financial innovation.

Throughout his career, he has led or been involved in numerous landmark deals, including major IPOs for leaders in the innovative economy, Swiss and London GDR issuances, large-scale equity financings, as well as market-influential cross-border M&A and privatization projects, fully showcasing his exceptional execution capabilities and strategic vision in complex, high-value transactions.
