According to recent reports, Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, has yet to complete its production ramp-up just over a month before its scheduled release. Industry supply chain sources indicate that Foxconn's current assembly yield for the iPhone Duo stands at only around 60%, resulting in a limited initial production volume.

Under Apple's existing quality standards, reaching a mature yield level could take anywhere from six months to a full year. In response to inquiries, Apple's customer service stated that they are not fully informed on the matter, noting that the product has not officially launched and will only become available in October.

At the September autumn product launch event, Apple unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, which comes in two color options: Starlight White and Midnight Blue. The China-market version is priced starting at 15,999 yuan, with pre-orders opening on October 16 and official sales commencing on October 23.
