The inaugural model of LEAPMOTOR's flagship D platform, the LEAPMOTOR D19, was officially launched on the evening of April 16. Positioned as a "tech-luxury flagship SUV," the new vehicle offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrain options, along with six-seat and seven-seat configurations, with prices ranging from 219,800 to 269,800 yuan.

The D19 is available in five exterior colors inspired by nature: Pine Valley Green, Photoelectric White, Liquid Silver, Skylight Gray, and Metallic Black. The interior offers three color schemes: Mist Gray, Dan Ya Brown, and Ji Yu Gray. The cabin boasts a space utilization rate of 88%. The six-seat version features a 2+2+2 layout with a 195mm flat aisle, while the seven-seat version uses a 2+3+2 layout and supports one-button conversion into a bed mode. All seats are power-adjustable. The configuration includes heated seats for all six occupants, four-seat integrated ventilation, and 10-point massage functions. The second-row right-side seat is a zero-gravity unit supporting a 120° pressure-free reclining position, a 4-way leg rest, and an integrated ABTS seatbelt. The third row supports 131° infinite backrest adjustment, seat heating, and one-button electric folding. Dedicated sunshades for the second and third rows offer shading rates of 93.2% and 91% respectively.

The D19 debuts an automotive-grade "Forest Oxygen Cabin" capable of producing 8L/min of oxygen flow to alleviate driving fatigue and altitude sickness. The vehicle is also equipped with a fully electric, automotive-grade 8.1L refrigerated compartment supporting a wide temperature range from -6°C to 50°C. An audio system with 23 speakers and Dolby Atmos support delivers a peak power of 2304W. The interior offers up to 50 storage spaces. The pure electric version's front trunk provides 176L of storage, featuring electric opening/closing, a 220V power outlet, splash-proof and washable surfaces, and versatile expansion options for scenarios like a kitchen setup. The standard trunk volume is 337L, expandable to 2667L with the second and third rows folded down in the seven-seat version.

The LEAPMOTOR D19 offers a choice between extended-range and pure electric powertrains. The extended-range version is equipped with an 80.3kWh battery pack developed specifically for this system, utilizing CATL lithium iron phosphate cells, achieving a CLTC pure electric range of 500km. It supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, allowing a charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes. The pure electric version uses a 115kWh CATL battery, achieving a CLTC range exceeding 720km. A full-stack 1000V high-voltage architecture enables adding over 350km of range in just 15 minutes of charging.

For intelligent features, the D19 pioneers the use of dual Qualcomm 8797 central domain control chips, delivering 1280 TOPS of computing power. The cabin incorporates an on-device, full-modal AI large model. The digital cockpit includes a 21.4-inch 3K electric entertainment screen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central control screen, a 60-inch AR-HUD, and a 6-inch rear control screen. For assisted driving, the vehicle utilizes a VLA large model and 28 high-precision perception hardware units, including lidar, enabling 44 assisted driving functions. This system allows for full-scenario navigation assistance from parking space to parking space and incorporates defensive driving capabilities.

The LEAPMOTOR D19's chassis architecture is 100% developed in-house, featuring a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension. The pure electric version employs a triple-motor all-wheel-drive system with a maximum power of 540kW and peak torque of 745N·m, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of around 3 seconds. The vehicle is also equipped with Konghui dual-chamber closed air suspension, Tokico continuous variable damping shock absorbers, Bosch Huayu R-EPS steering, IMO (formerly Continental) MKC2 wire-controlled braking, four-piston front fixed calipers, and Michelin high-performance tires. It features an active preview "Magic Carpet" function for high-speed pre-stabilization and anti-slip control on wet surfaces, along with one-button leveling, a "compass" U-turn mode, and an intelligent anti-motion sickness function.

The D19 utilizes a "nine horizontal, three vertical, four strong rings" cage-type body structure, with high-strength steel and aluminum alloy accounting for 83% of the composition. Safety features include nine airbags, with a standard full-length side curtain airbag measuring over 2.8 meters. For battery safety, the system can withstand temperatures exceeding 1300°C, meets the standard of no fire or explosion for 72 hours after thermal runaway, and complies in advance with the 2026 new national standard. Active safety systems include active AEB emergency braking assist, active AES emergency evasion assist, and an integrated AI adaptive driving mode.
