Ryder System Inc. experienced a significant pre-market plunge of 5.98% on Wednesday, following the release of its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results.
The transportation and logistics company reported quarterly operating revenue of $2.6 billion, which fell substantially short of the IBES estimate of $3.209 billion. This revenue miss appears to be the primary driver behind the stock's sharp decline. In contrast, the company's adjusted earnings per share of $3.59 slightly exceeded the estimated $3.57.
Alongside the quarterly results, Ryder provided its financial outlook, forecasting first-quarter 2026 comparable adjusted EPS in the range of $2.10 to $2.35 and full-year adjusted EPS between $13.45 and $14.45.
