On the morning of August 28th, at the 2025 Baidu Cloud Intelligence Conference, Shen Dou, Executive Vice President of Baidu Group and President of Baidu Intelligence Cloud Business Group, announced the release of Baidu Intelligence Cloud Qianfan 4.0, featuring over 150 curated model services that enable users to access SOTA models immediately.

According to Shen Dou, Baidu's newly released Steam Engine 2.0 video generation model, along with more than ten vertical industry models, have all been integrated into the Qianfan large model platform. Additionally, Baidu unveiled its RFT tool chain, which provides reward models to enhance RFT training efficiency by 43%.
