LIANLIAN's stock surged 5.05% during intraday trading on Friday, following the release of its impressive 2025 financial results and announcements regarding executive leadership changes.
The company reported a dramatic turnaround for the year ended December 31, 2025, swinging from a RMB166.54 million loss in 2024 to a net profit of RMB1.66 billion. This significant improvement was driven by multiple factors including a RMB1.60 billion gain from the partial disposal of its stake in associate LianTong and a RMB453.16 million dilution gain from LianTong's subsequent capital increase. Revenue also showed strong growth, climbing 31.9% year-on-year to RMB1.73 billion, with digital payment services remaining the core contributor.
Concurrently, the company announced leadership transitions with Chairman Zhang Zhengyu appointed as Chief Executive Officer, replacing Xin Jie who resigned due to family reasons. The board also nominated Shen Enguang and Sun Dali as executive director candidates, signaling a strategic shift in management while maintaining experienced leadership at the helm.
