At the opening of the second World Humanoid Robot Games on the evening of August 22, the Tiangong robot delivered a standout performance, claiming first place in the 400-meter track large-group qualifier with a time of 39.70 seconds. This result showcased impressive athletic capability, setting the tone for the competition.

Remarkably, during the 100-meter preliminary heat, the Tiangong Ultra robot posted a time of 9.39 seconds, shattering the human world record of 9.58 seconds in the 100-meter dash. This milestone highlights the rapid advancement in humanoid robotics since last year's inaugural games, where the best 100-meter result was just 21.50 seconds.

In the standing high jump demonstration event, the Tiangong Ultra robot cleared a height of 2.8843 meters, also surpassing the human record. These achievements underscore the accelerating progress in robotic athletic performance and signal a new era for the sport.
