MOBVOI has released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing year-on-year progress in decarbonisation, resource management and corporate governance after its April 2024 listing on the Hong Kong Main Board.
Environmental Performance • Greenhouse-gas emissions fell 38.4% to 210.74 tCO₂e; intensity dropped to 0.65 tCO₂e per RMB million of revenue (2024: 0.88). • Electricity consumption declined 6.0% to 397.17 MWh; intensity rose to 1.23 MWh per RMB million due to a shift in business mix. • Water use decreased 10.0% to 145.22 m³, with intensity rising to 0.45 m³ per RMB million. • The company targets a 5% cut in electricity and water intensity by 2026 (base year 2025) and plans to install LED lighting in 80% of data-centre and office areas within three years.
Climate Governance The board assumes direct oversight of climate strategy and has embedded scenario analysis aligned with IEA NZE-2050 and IPCC SSP3-7.0 pathways. Acute physical risks (extreme weather) and transition risks (carbon compliance costs) are rated “low” in the short to medium term, while demand for low-power AI solutions is identified as a core opportunity.
Social Metrics • Headcount stood at 165 (51.5% female); R&D personnel accounted for 42.4%. • Staff turnover was 39.0%, down 7.6 ppts from 2024. • No work-related fatalities, injuries or occupational-health violations were recorded. • 78% of employees received training, averaging 2.1 hours each.
Community & Supply Chain • Donated 3,030 AI smart-speaker devices worth RMB 77,700 to support children’s digital education in Nanjing. • Supplier base totalled 79, with 52.0% located in North and South China; environmental and social risk assessments are now mandatory in vendor onboarding.
Innovation & Governance • R&D expenditure reached RMB 77.70 million, or 24% of revenue; 70-strong R&D team published a paper at IJCAI 2025. • Intellectual-property portfolio expanded to 651 patents and 881 trademarks. • No product recalls, major customer complaints or corruption cases were reported. Data security controls include multi-factor authentication and algorithm-security reviews.
Key 2025 Milestones Product launches included TicNote global and domestic versions, TicNote Color, TicNote Lite and TicNote Pods—the world’s first 4G AI earphones. The company also integrated the DeepSeek-R1 large language model across its portfolio and unveiled the TicVoice 7.0 TTS engine.
Outlook MOBVOI will continue to refine energy-efficiency measures, strengthen climate-risk assessments and pursue further AI-driven product innovation while aiming to meet its 2026 resource-intensity reduction targets.
