Fujian Shipping Group Co., Ltd. has announced a significant leadership transition. On August 3, the company's new Party Secretary and Chairman, Zheng Cenglin, led a delegation to Zhongping Ship Management for a special research visit, focusing on examining operational performance, the current state of daily vessel management, identifying bottlenecks and challenges in development, and providing comprehensive guidance for the next phase of work.

Zheng Cenglin has officially taken over from former Chairman Wu Liangqi to assume his new role as Party Secretary and Chairman of Fujian Shipping Group. Prior to this appointment, Zheng Cenglin served as a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager at Xiamen Port Holding Group Co., Ltd.

According to Fujian Port Group, Fujian Shipping Group Co., Ltd. is a directly managed enterprise under Fujian Port Group. Founded in 1950, it is the largest state-owned shipping enterprise in Fujian Province, evolving from its predecessor, the Fujian Provincial Shipping Administration Bureau. The company primarily operates in three major sectors: waterway freight transportation, water tourism passenger transport, and maritime services. It manages a fleet of 19 cargo vessels and 26 passenger vessels, and oversees a crew of approximately 8,000 people.
