Shares of TRANSCENTA-B (06628) surged more than 29% during morning trading before paring gains to trade 21.54% higher at HK$1.185, with turnover reaching HK$5.2075 million.

According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on September 17, Qian Xueming increased his holdings in TRANSCENTA-B by 100,000 shares at an average price of HK$0.8552 per share, totaling HK$85,520. Following the increase, his latest shareholding stands at 38.6 million shares, representing 8.47% of the company's total issued shares.

Earlier, TRANSCENTA-B disclosed its interim results for 2026, reporting revenue of RMB 23.597 million, a year-on-year increase of 770.42%. The loss attributable to owners of the company narrowed to RMB 67.347 million, a reduction of 38.66% compared to the same period last year. The loss per share was RMB 0.27, down from RMB 0.16 in the prior year.

The company attributed the revenue growth primarily to an increase in out-licensing income and CDMO services.
