Bank of Qingdao (3866) reported that net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB3.992 billion for the first three quarters of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 15.54%. Operating income rose 5.83% year-on-year to RMB11.005 billion. The bank’s net interest income stood at RMB8.139 billion, up 12.00% compared with the same period last year.

Total assets as of 30 September 2025 stood at RMB765.57 billion, a 10.96% increase from the end of 2024. Customer loans grew 10.16% to RMB375.30 billion, while total customer deposits reached RMB481.73 billion, rising 11.50%. The non-performing loan ratio declined to 1.10%, and provision coverage improved to 269.97%. The weighted average return on net assets (annualized) was 13.16%, an increase of 0.48 percentage point from the same period last year.

Net fee and commission income slipped to RMB1.232 billion, primarily due to a decline in wealth management commission income. Net gains arising from investments dropped to RMB1.499 billion, attributed to weaker trends in the bond market relative to the previous year. However, overall profitability remained stable as total operating costs were effectively controlled.

The bank’s capital adequacy ratio at the end of the reporting period was 13.14%, while the core tier-one capital adequacy ratio stood at 8.75%. Liquidity coverage ratio remained above regulatory requirements at 146.10%. Net cash flows generated from operating activities reached RMB13.06 billion, reflecting changes in interbank transactions and deposit-loan structures.

As of the disclosure date, the board has not proposed an interim cash dividend for 2025. The bank continues to focus on supporting the real economy, optimizing asset and liability structure, and enhancing its specialized operations in areas such as technology and green finance to maintain steady growth in key financial indicators.
