Jinshang Bank released its 2025 performance and ESG highlights, reporting total assets of RMB393.00 billion, up 4.4% year-on-year. Customer deposits reached RMB311.05 billion while the loan book closed at RMB217.63 billion. Operating income was RMB5.45 billion and net profit came in at RMB1.66 billion, translating into returns on average assets and equity of 0.43% and 6.06%, respectively.

Credit quality remained resilient with the non-performing loan ratio at 1.95% and provision coverage at 191%. The capital adequacy ratio stood at 13.96% and the core Tier-1 ratio at 10.46%, keeping all regulatory indicators comfortably above minimum requirements.

Financing the real economy stayed central to strategy. Outstanding loans to the real economy exceeded RMB140 billion. Technology finance rose 19.5% to RMB17.92 billion, driven by support for Shanxi’s “Six New” sectors and the province’s first sci-tech innovation bond. Inclusive micro- and small-enterprise (MSE) lending increased 16.61% to RMB13.47 billion, covering more than 10,000 active borrowers. Agriculture-related lending advanced to RMB43.50 billion, underpinning rural revitalisation initiatives.

Green finance accelerated: the green loan portfolio climbed 35.9% to RMB15.22 billion, supported by new products such as carbon-emission-rights pledge loans and green M&A loans. The bank also underwrote two green bonds (RMB80 million) and three sustainability-linked bonds (RMB45 million) during the year.

Digital transformation gained traction. Mobile banking transactions exceeded 16 million and the e-banking penetration rate reached 88.29%. The launch of Mobile Banking 7.0, AI-enabled “Smart Financial Assistant”, intelligent document review, and cloud-native middle-platform upgrades strengthened customer experience and risk control.

On the social front, Jinshang Bank opened the province’s first “Silver Hair” demonstration outlet, lifted customer satisfaction to 99.66%, and deployed 1,361 financial education events. Employee development received RMB8.03 million in training investment, averaging 44.32 training hours per employee.

Governance measures included the establishment of a Green Finance Management Committee, integration of ESG metrics into senior management appraisals, and an upgrade of Wind’s ESG rating to “AA”. The board convened five meetings, passing 68 resolutions with 100% attendance.

Looking to 2026, management will advance the new five-year plan under the theme “Deepening Reform, Promoting Transformation, and Improving Quality & Efficiency”, emphasising balanced growth, risk management, and sustained ESG integration.
