Want Want China Executes HK$2.91 Million Buyback on 6 July; 3.67 Million Shares Now Await Cancellation

Want Want China Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 0.87 million ordinary shares on 6 July 2026 via on-market transactions, paying between HK$3.34 and HK$3.35 per share. The volume-weighted average price was approximately HK$3.35, bringing the cash outlay for the day to about HK$2.91 million.

Including the latest purchase, a total of 3.67 million shares—1.80 million bought on 2 July, 1.00 million on 3 July and 0.87 million on 6 July—have been repurchased for cancellation but were still outstanding as at the close of 6 July. These shares represent roughly 0.031% of the company’s 11.80 billion issued shares.

The transaction forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 26 August 2025, under which Want Want China is authorised to buy back up to 1.18 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 5.07 million shares, equivalent to 0.043% of the issued share base at the mandate date.

Following the latest activity, Want Want China’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 11.80 billion shares until the repurchased shares are formally cancelled. In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 5 August 2026.
