Fresh rankings for IPO intermediary firms based on their deal volume in the first half of 2026 have been released. Statistics show there were 71 companies that conducted initial public offerings on the A-share market from January to June 2026. By exchange board, the Beijing Stock Exchange led with 36 listings, followed by the STAR Market with 11, the ChiNext board with 9, the Shanghai Main Board with 8, and the Shenzhen Main Board with 7. Compared to the same period last year, which saw 51 A-share IPOs, this year's figure represents a year-on-year increase of 39.22%.

Top Performing Underwriting Institutions

Data indicates that 23 securities firms served as sponsors for companies that went public in the first half of 2026. Taking the top spot was Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd., with 13 listings. In second place was China International Capital Corporation (CICC), with 9 listings, followed by CITIC Securities in third place with 8 listings. For comparison, in the first half of 2025, 25 brokerages acted as sponsors. The leader then was CITIC Securities with 6 listings, while Huatai United Securities, China Securities Co., Ltd., and Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. tied for second place, each with 5 listings.

Leading Accounting Firms by Performance

In the first six months of 2026, 13 accounting firms served as auditors for IPO companies. The top performer was Lixin Certified Public Accountants, with 19 listings. Tianjian Certified Public Accountants followed closely in second place with 18 listings, and Rongcheng Certified Public Accountants ranked third with 10 listings. Looking back at the same period in 2025, 15 accounting firms were engaged as auditors. Rongcheng led then with 10 listings, while Tianjian and Lixin tied for second place, each with 8 listings.

Law Firm Rankings for IPO Services

A total of 22 law firms provided legal services for IPO companies in H1 2026. Shanghai-based AllBright Law Offices claimed first place with 11 listings. Beijing-based Zhong Lun Law Firm took second place with 10 listings, and Guohao Law Firm (Shanghai) ranked third with 6 listings. In the first half of 2025, 23 law firms were involved. AllBright Law Offices also led then with 9 listings, followed by Zhong Lun Law Firm in second with 6 listings. Beijing DHH Law Firm, Guangdong Sunland Law Firm, Zhejiang Tiance Law Firm, and Beijing Hairun Tianrui Law Firm tied for third place, each with 3 listings.
