On August 14th, the National Development and Reform Commission announced adjustments to domestic refined oil product prices via its official website. Since the last price adjustment on July 31st, international crude oil prices have shown volatility after a rapid decline, with the average price over the 10 working days before this adjustment being lower than the average over the 10 working days before the previous adjustment. Reflecting changes in international oil markets, starting from 24:00 on August 14th, the prices of domestic petrol and diesel (standard products) will be reduced by 230 yuan per ton and 220 yuan per ton, respectively.

According to information from the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, based on the price adjustment notice from the National Development and Reform Commission, starting from 24:00 on August 14th, 2026, the maximum wholesale and retail prices for petrol and diesel in Shandong Province will be reduced by 230 yuan per ton and 220 yuan per ton, respectively. Based on the maximum retail prices for refined oil products in Shandong, the price of 92 octane petrol will drop by 0.18 yuan per liter, 95 octane petrol by 0.2 yuan per liter, and 0-grade diesel by 0.19 yuan per liter.

Based on calculations using the average capacity of a household car fuel tank (50 liters), filling a full tank of 95 octane petrol will cost 10 yuan less.
