OKP Holdings Limited's stock surged 3.59% in pre-market trading on Friday, driven by the announcement of a significant new contract award.
The infrastructure and civil engineering company clinched a S$165.3 million contract from Singapore's Land Transport Authority for commuter infrastructure works. Under the contract, OKP's unit Or Kim Peow Contractors will design and construct elevator shafts at 30 pedestrian overhead bridges across Singapore.
This substantial contract win bolsters the company's order book, which now stands at S$760.7 million with projects secured until 2031, providing visibility for future revenue streams.
