Black Sesame forecasts at least 81% revenue leap in H1 2026; net loss to remain around RMB 720–820 million

Black Sesame International Holding Limited (Black Sesame) issued a profit alert indicating that revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will reach no less than RMB 458.00 million, an increase of at least 81.1% versus the same period in 2025. Despite the sharp top-line expansion, the Group projects a net loss of approximately RMB 720.00 million to RMB 820.00 million, broadly in line with the RMB 762.00 million loss recorded a year earlier.

Management attributes the revenue surge to two core growth engines:

1) Robotics: Accelerated rollout of robotics-related solutions, modules and chips, underpinned by long-term partnerships with leading domestic robotics manufacturers, delivered a marked uplift in segment revenue.

2) Advanced assisted driving: Continued large-scale mass production of advanced driver-assistance solutions for passenger vehicles, coupled with higher L2–L3 penetration in commercial and special-purpose vehicles following new regulations, expanded the Group’s customer base across major OEMs.

Operating losses persisted as Black Sesame stepped up investment in computing power, artificial-intelligence infrastructure, and R&D for large-model algorithms and automotive-grade chips to reinforce product competitiveness.

The figures are based on unaudited management accounts and may be adjusted. The company plans to release its full interim results before end-August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
