OMNIVISION (00501) made its debut on the stock exchange. According to the company's announcement, the final offer price was set at HK$104.8 per share. The company issued a total of 45.8 million shares, with a board lot size of 100 shares, raising net proceeds of approximately HK$4.693 billion. At the time of writing, the stock was up 3.05%, trading at HK$108, with a turnover of HK$148 million.

Public information indicates that OMNIVISION was previously known as Will Semiconductor and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in May 2017. In June 2025, the company officially changed its name to "OMNIVISION Group."

As a global Fabless semiconductor design company, CMOS Image Sensors (CIS) are the primary products of OMNIVISION. It is understood that the company is primarily engaged in three main business lines: Image Sensor Solutions, Display Solutions, and Analog Solutions, offering a diverse portfolio of image sensors, display products, analog ICs, and other semiconductor components.

According to data from Frost & Sullivan, based on 2024 revenue from image sensor solutions, the company is the world's third-largest supplier of digital image sensors, holding a market share of 13.7%.
