At the Skyworth Group 2026 Customer Conference and New Product Launch held today, Chen Guizhang, Vice President of Skyworth Auto and General Manager of the Marketing Company, stated that Skyworth Auto introduced its flash charging technology as early as September 2023, which is three years ahead of BYD's recently announced ultra-fast charging technology. He emphasized that Skyworth Auto is the pioneer in ultra-fast charging models, capable of providing 800 li (approximately 400 kilometers) of range with just an 8-minute charge.

Chen also mentioned that Skyworth Auto is the only carmaker globally to support flash discharge technology, enabling vehicles to function as profitable mobile fast-charging stations. The company has already partnered with the Telaiodi platform. The starting price for models equipped with both flash charging and flash discharge technologies is 129,800 yuan, offering a competitive edge compared to BYD.
