Over 100 crypto firms call on Senate to move forward with Clarity Act
A unified group of more than 100 cryptocurrency companies and trade organizations on April 23, 2026 sent a formal letter to the Senate Banking Committee.
The coalition is urging Senators Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), and Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) to move forward with a "markup" for the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act.
US soldier charged over $400K Polymarket bet on Maduro’s capture
A US Army soldier involved in the capture of Nicolás Maduro has been charged with making over $400,000 by allegedly betting on the removal of the former Venezuelan president on a prediction market platform.
In a statement on Thursday, the US Department of Justice alleged that Master Sergeant Gannon Ken Van Dyke was involved in the planning and execution of “Operation Absolute Resolve” that led to the capture of Maduro at a residence in Caracas, Venezuela, in January.
Fundstrat’s Tom Lee Endorses $250K ETH Target
Fundstrat Global Advisors co-founder Tom Lee has backed a $250,000 Ethereum price target presented in a recent Etherealize report.
The call adds another high-profile voice to the debate around Ethereum’s long-term value as ETH remains one of the market’s most watched digital assets.
Lee described the report as “a fresh and comprehensive take” on Ethereum’s future. His support focused on the report’s argument that Ethereum could gain value from features that differ from both gold and Bitcoin, including staking income and network utility.

The overall net inflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Thursday was $55.72 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $39.65 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 2.54%. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow on April 23 was ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF , with a net inflow of 71.12 million, according to SoSoValue.
