During the golden autumn season, villagers in Xiaohuang Dong Village, located in Gaozeng Township, Congjiang County, Guizhou Province, have taken advantage of the clear weather to dry their freshly harvested crops such as rice and chili peppers. The scenes in front of and behind houses, on rooftops, and across the grain-drying grounds are painted in vivid shades of gold and fiery red, presenting a beautiful picture of the autumn harvest everywhere.

The images, captured on September 20th, show villagers from Xiaohuang Dong Village spreading out rice to dry. Additional photographs taken from drones on the same day offer a bird's-eye view of the villagers tending to the drying grain, as well as scenes of them transporting the harvested rice. Another photo highlights the bright red chili peppers laid out to dry by the villagers. A composite drone image also captures the villagers as they engage in drying the rice, showcasing the full scale of this seasonal activity.
