On the afternoon of August 19, during the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026), Unitree Robotics unveiled a diverse lineup of its latest humanoid and quadruped robots at the event. Through synchronized multi-type robot demonstrations, fully autonomous AI group performances, and a new generation of dynamic movement capabilities, the company showcased the latest progress in the evolution of robots from single-unit intelligence to swarm intelligence, and from motion control to fully autonomous collaboration.
At the venue, Unitree Robotics presented a brand-new AI-driven group demonstration featuring full autonomy. A cluster of multiple G1 humanoid robots, along with quadruped and wheeled-legged robots of varying forms such as the As2, As2-W, A2, and A2-W, performed a unified, choreographed routine using the company's proprietary AI group control system. The system enabled seamless coordination and synchronized motion, culminating in a polished and fluid group dance performance.
The mass-produced humanoid robot G1 and the new-generation full-size humanoid H2 each delivered fresh combat demonstrations, highlighting significant advancements in dynamic balance, whole-body coordination, and high-speed motion control. Additionally, the G1 engaged audiences with an interactive ping-pong display. By sensing the ball's position and movement in real time, the robot executed forehand, backhand, and lunge strokes, dynamically adjusting its swing and body posture to return shots continuously and even engage in rallies with human players.
During the event, on-site representatives noted that since the G1's launch, the robot has undergone multiple upgrades, enabling it to learn an expanding range of skills. "We are also paying close attention to household applications, and in the future, it may serve more family-oriented scenarios," the representative explained.
Notably, Unitree Robotics brought its manned mech GD01 to the WRC for the first time. The GD01 is a mass-produced, manned transforming mech, standing approximately 3 meters tall and weighing around 500 kilograms when occupied. Leveraging the motion control expertise Unitree has accumulated in legged robotics, the GD01 employs a self-developed high-precision servo drive system and a high-strength structural design, with transformation control algorithms enabling stable switching between different robot configurations. Unlike previous robotic product forms, the GD01 combines robotics technology with manned equipment, opening new possibilities for potential applications such as cultural tourism displays and specialized operations.
Today also marked a significant milestone as Unitree Robotics officially went public on the STAR Market (Shanghai's科创板), with its opening price at 1,100 yuan per share—a 629.44% increase from its issue price—bringing its market capitalization to 444.911 billion yuan.
