UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) has unveiled its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showcasing a robust financial performance driven by strong demand for its humanoid robotics solutions. The group reported revenue of RMB 1.269 billion, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 104.22%.

Gross profit for the period climbed 160.86% to RMB 567 million, while the net loss narrowed by 22.99% to RMB 339 million, reflecting improving operational efficiency and scaling economies. During the first half of 2026, the company's full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robot products and solutions achieved revenue of RMB 590 million across all scenarios, a staggering 1,445.0% surge from the prior year, with sales volume reaching 921 units, up 1,946.7% year-on-year.

Where to begin with the company's strategic direction? Leveraging its long-standing full-stack expertise in humanoid robotics, UBTECH ROBOTICS is anchoring its business around a comprehensive software-and-hardware platform. The firm is actively constructing four core technology clusters—namely, "embodied brain, humanoid cerebellum, high-performance body, and swarm intelligence"—while continuously opening up its core technologies, platforms, and application capabilities. This approach is designed to connect developers, the supply chain, and industry partners, progressively building an ecosystem platform for humanoid robots tailored to the era of embodied intelligence.

Why focus on platform standardization? Building upon its existing product matrix, the company intends to further promote the cross-model reuse and platformization of key technologies, elevating the standardization levels of core components, software-hardware interfaces, and complete machine architectures. Specifically, UBTECH ROBOTICS will persist in investing in the iterative development of the industrial-grade embodied intelligent humanoid robot Walker S series, while advancing the commercial Walker C series and the ultra-biomimetic U1 series, which targets commercial, educational, and household applications, through product upgrades and new model R&D.

On the hardware front, the company is prioritizing breakthroughs in core technologies such as integrated joints and humanoid five-finger dexterous hands. These efforts aim to further enhance capabilities including full-size bipedal configuration, lightweight design, high-load stability, high-precision perception and manipulation, edge intelligence, autonomous battery swapping, and industrial-grade safety. The ultimate goal is to improve overall integration, system reliability, individual autonomy, swarm coordination, and continuous operation capabilities, thereby accelerating the large-scale deployment of embodied intelligence across industrial, commercial, educational, and domestic settings. Simultaneously, UBTECH ROBOTICS will continue to foster its developer community and open ecosystem platform, rallying industry collaborators to collectively expand the application landscape for embodied intelligent humanoid robots.
