China Starch Holdings Limited disclosed a share repurchase on 14 September 2026, acquiring 4.00 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The purchases were executed within a price range of HKD 0.174–0.179 per share, for a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 0.1769 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 0.71 million.

Following the transaction: • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.07% to 5.76 billion. • Treasury shares increased to 52.26 million. • Total issued share capital remained unchanged at 5.81 billion shares, as the repurchased shares are being held in treasury rather than cancelled.

The buy-back was conducted under the repurchase mandate approved on 12 May 2026, which permits the company to repurchase up to 596.45 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now stand at 182.36 million shares, equivalent to 3.06% of the issued share count on the mandate’s grant date. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales extends to 14 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules.

No shares have been cancelled as a result of this transaction, and no on-market sales of treasury shares were reported.
