CIMC ENRIC 2025 ESG Report: Carbon-emission Intensity Cut 16.3%, Clean-Energy Sales Reach 20.57 Billion Yuan

CIMC ENRIC (03899) released its 10th Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report, detailing marked progress in decarbonisation, governance and social initiatives for 2025.

Revenue & Green Share – 2025 revenue rose to RMB 26.33 billion, with clean-energy business contributing RMB 20.57 billion, or 78.1% of the total. – R&D expenditure totalled RMB 7.29 billion, while climate-related capital and operating outlays reached RMB 802.84 million.

Lower Emissions, Higher Efficiency – Scope 1+2 carbon-emission intensity dropped 16.3% year on year to 771.23 tonnes of CO₂e per RMB 100 million revenue. – Energy-consumption intensity decreased 0.7% to 231.92 tonnes of standard coal per RMB 100 million revenue. – Installed photovoltaic capacity expanded to 22.12 MW; clean-energy use hit 18.65 GWh.

Pollutant & Waste Control – Hazardous-waste intensity fell 16.0% to 8.50 tonnes per RMB 100 million revenue, while wastewater-discharge intensity declined 10.8% to 3.07 thousand m³ per RMB 100 million revenue. – Four subsidiaries were certified as national “Green Factories.”

Governance & Compliance – Independent directors account for 44.4% of the board; female representation stands at 22.2%. – All senior managers and employees in sensitive roles signed integrity pledges; anti-corruption training reached 100% of the board and 3,609 staff. – No cases of corruption, major safety incidents or environmental penalties were reported in 2025.

Supply-chain & Product Quality – 1,872 suppliers were assessed, with 64% covered by ESG audits; 93.1% signed “Sunshine Cooperation” anti-bribery agreements. – National spot-check pass rate for products remained at 100%; the company recorded zero product recalls.

Social Impact – Workforce totalled 10,554 with a turnover rate of 7.2%; average training hours per employee rose to 32.18 hours. – Occupational-safety investment reached RMB 47.57 million; no work-related fatalities occurred during the year. – Public-welfare spending amounted to RMB 2.09 million, backing rural revitalisation, healthcare and community projects.

Outlook CIMC ENRIC reaffirmed its goals of peaking group-wide carbon emissions no later than 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality before 2060, underpinned by continued expansion in hydrogen, LNG and green-methanol businesses, and by ongoing digital and intelligent-manufacturing upgrades.
