Investigation Concludes Driver Fully Liable in Xiaomi SU7 Chengdu Crash

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra traffic accident that previously occurred on Chengdu's Tianfu Avenue continues to attract public attention. It was learned on February 14th that the responsibility assessment for the incident has now been completed, with the driver, Deng Moumou, bearing full responsibility. Data shows that three seconds before the collision with the vehicle ahead, the involved car was traveling at a speed exceeding 200 km/h, with an impact speed surpassing 160 km/h, far exceeding the speed limit for that section of road.

Previously, Chengdu police reported that the incident occurred around 3:18 AM on October 13, 2025. The accident resulted in the death of the driver, Deng Moumou, and caused varying degrees of damage to the two vehicles involved. The driver was suspected of operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
