The Ascott Limited announced on Jul, 30 2026 that it has secured management agreements for nine properties comprising more than 3,200 units in Vietnam during 1H 2026, lifting its nationwide portfolio by over 30% to about 12,000 units across 42 operational and pipeline assets in 14 cities.

The signings include four projects with long-time partner Sun Group and five with new owners. Two of the deals introduce The Crest Collection brand to Vietnam via properties in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The remaining assets will operate under the Ascott, Citadines, lyf, Oakwood, Somerset and Harris brands, with openings scheduled progressively from 2028.

Geographically, the new projects deepen Ascott’s presence in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong, expand its coastal footprint in Da Nang and Phu Quoc, and mark the company’s entry into Quy Nhon. Three of the nine signings are located in Phu Quoc, targeting demand linked to the island’s hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Nov, 2027.

The nine properties are: 1) Ascott Phu Quoc (385 units) 2) lyf Phu Quoc (441 units) 3) Harris Phu Quoc (574 units) 4) The Crest Collection Ho Chi Minh City (154 units) 5) Diamond Crown Westlake by The Crest Collection, Hanoi (181 units) 6) Citadines Riverside Hai Phong (250 units) 7) Oakwood Thao Dien Ho Chi Minh City (356 units) 8) Somerset Non Nuoc Da Nang Resort (549 units) 9) Citadines Quy Nhon Resort (357 units)

Ascott stated that Vietnam is now its third-largest market in Asia by pipeline and signalled expectations for continued signing momentum in 2H 2026, supported by the country’s record inbound and domestic tourism growth and expanding infrastructure network.
