PHOENIX TV (02008) has announced the financial results for its subsidiary, Phoenix New Media (FENG), for the second quarter of 2026. Total revenue reached RMB 216.7 million, marking a 15.8% increase year-over-year.

Gross profit surged by 34.9% to RMB 124.1 million compared to the same period last year. The net profit attributable to Phoenix New Media amounted to RMB 6.5 million, reversing a net loss from the prior year. The gross margin for the second quarter of 2026 improved to 57.3%, up from 49.2% in the corresponding period of 2025. This margin expansion was primarily driven by higher margins from digital reading business generated through mini-programs, alongside significant revenue growth in that segment.

During the second quarter of 2026, net advertising revenue stood at RMB 146.9 million, a 4.2% decline from the same period in 2025. In contrast, paid services revenue soared to RMB 69.8 million, a 106.5% increase year-over-year.

Phoenix New Media has provided guidance for the third quarter of 2026, projecting total revenue between RMB 220.9 million and RMB 235.9 million. Net advertising revenue is expected to range from RMB 151.9 million to RMB 161.9 million, while paid services revenue is anticipated to be between RMB 69 million and RMB 74 million.
