The 2026 Guangdong Trade Union "Worker BA" Employee Carnival officially opened in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province on August 2. The event, themed "Making Friends Through Sports - Guangdong Workers Unite," brings together 21 city representative teams from across the province alongside a model worker delegation.

Highlights of the carnival include intangible cultural heritage dragon and lion dances, human-robot interaction performances, and friendly basketball matches. In one image, players compete intensely during a basketball game. Another photo captures a vibrant lion dance performance.

Du Feng, President of the Guangdong Basketball Association (left), and basketball legend Zheng Haixia (center) attended the opening ceremony. Players were also seen scrambling for the ball in a friendly match.
