The recent comprehensive revamp and launch of Atombot's English-language website, designed as a one-stop platform for global intelligent manufacturing clients covering selection, connection, services, and information, underscores the company's reach, with its products now sold in over 30 countries and regions.

Last month, at the 2026 16th China International Robot Summit and the 12th Capek Awards ceremony, Atombot secured the "Annual Technological Innovation Product Award" with its embodied intelligent robot "Tianbing No. 1," while its founder and CEO, Song Tao, was honored with the "Annual Outstanding Entrepreneur Award." Since its inception in 2014, the Capek Award has been one of the most credible and influential authoritative recognitions in China's robotics field. The judging panel highly praised "Tianbing No. 1," noting it as a pioneer in engineering the application of embodied intelligence technology in industrial settings, with its unique parallel structure design offering an innovative solution to the challenge of humanoid robots performing complex tasks.

Beyond Atombot, Langyu Robot reported that sales of its heavy-duty AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) doubled in the first half of the year, with export destinations expanding from 16 to 22 countries. A recent collaboration matchmaking effort between Langyu Robot and global agricultural machinery leader John Deere resulted in a direct order for 12 units, valued at approximately 3 million yuan, as John Deere recognized Langyu's AGVs could meet its needs for heavy-load handling and high-precision operation on production lines.

Tianxing Technology achieved a milestone earlier this year with the official completion and operation of its first embodied intelligent robot production line, which is now delivering 50 dual-arm industrial robots monthly, including for export, with orders booked through the end of the year.

Data from the Industrial Digital Transformation Office of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology shows that from January to May this year, the city's intelligent robotics industry chain maintained rapid growth, with output value from above-scale enterprises increasing by 12.3% year-on-year and value-added output rising by 15.7%. A representative from the office highlighted that this year has seen the intensive landing of several major intelligent robotics projects, including an R&D and production base for embodied intelligence by Asia Vets (SGX: 5RE) and Meidemann, accelerating the formation of the industry ecosystem. Concurrent with the Intelligent Manufacturing Expo at the end of May, eight intelligent technology projects, including those from Shiyun Technology and Weina Xingkong, were signed and landed in Hexi District during the 3rd Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Collaborative Development Conference. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Fund of the National Venture Capital Guiding Fund, with a total scale of 50 billion yuan, has also officially commenced operations, focusing on key industrial chains like intelligent connected new energy vehicles and robotics.

"Tianjin is formulating and issuing an action plan for the innovative development of the intelligent robotics industry to cultivate new growth points for the high-quality development of the city's manufacturing sector. As a group of enterprises including Atombot, Deep Blue, and Wangyuan Technology accelerate their push towards capital markets, Tianjin's intelligent robotics industry is reaching a critical turning point from 'accumulating potential' to 'gaining momentum,'" the representative stated.

Zhang Huanxi, Secretary-General of the Tianjin Robotics Industry Technology Alliance, feels this momentum more acutely. Since its establishment just over a month ago, the alliance's membership has grown from an initial 180 to 218 members. "Our alliance members span various sectors including academic research, industrial robots, underwater robots, humanoid robots, quadruped robots, machine vision, core components, and large AI models. Since its founding, the alliance has actively served as an industrial bridge, facilitating the inclusion of state-owned enterprises like the Rail Transit Group and Baili Equipment Group as vice-chairman units. It has organized member visits to companies such as Aipusi and Bonuo Intelligent, leading to the successful landing of a 1.2 million yuan order for tactile sensors from Paxini," Zhang said.

In this short period, alliance members have fostered collaboration and mutual growth, promoting local production for local use. Wangyuan Technology, a leading pool cleaning robot company, conducted specialized matchmaking with local suppliers Lishen Battery and Jinya Electronics, reaching preliminary agreements on purchasing components like control motherboards and battery packs. Leading enterprises from the industrial chain, including Langyu Robot, Atombot, Siasun Robot, Aipusi, and Zhongtian Training Center, collectively visited Jianru Automation for supply-demand matchmaking and discussions, planning deeper long-term collaboration in areas like non-standard equipment retrofitting, outsourcing support, and talent supply. Foreign-invested enterprise Rockwell Automation and alliance vice-chairman unit Jingzhi Hesheng agreed to jointly provide integrated factory solutions featuring AI vision and intelligent warehouse management for Tsubaki Chain.

This burgeoning momentum is also reflected in planning for the next five-year period. A relevant official from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology outlined that the city will continue to focus on heavy-load handling robots, expanding application scenarios in steel, ports, and heavy machinery manufacturing. It will accelerate the development of welding robots, parallel processing robots, and precision assembly robots to address challenges in large equipment assembly, precision parts processing, and replacing hazardous tasks, meeting the needs of industries like automotive and green petrochemicals. Efforts will persist in developing power inspection robots for various environments and tasks to enable intelligent inspection and fault detection of power facilities. The city aims to enhance the endurance, diving depth, and operational capabilities of underwater robots and promote the industrial application of operational and medical-assistant robots.

"Tianjin will support the integrated development of 'robotics + large models,' advance R&D on core components for humanoid robots such as the brain, cerebellum, body, sensors, and dexterous hands, improve technological innovation and product supply capabilities for sensors, reducers, and end-effectors, and strengthen the R&D and manufacturing of complete humanoid robot products. We will establish high-quality embodied intelligence algorithm and training platforms, data collection platforms, create high-quality datasets, and provide fundamental common services like data collection, cleaning, and labeling. Through policy guidance encouraging pilot initiatives, we will accelerate the application of embodied intelligence in scenarios like port logistics and industry," the official from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology stated. "We will highlight the distinctive features of industrial robots while accelerating layout into diverse sectors like service robots and special-purpose robots, enabling Tianjin's intelligent robotics enterprises to thrive alongside the city's rich industrial application scenarios. This will form a complete industrial ecosystem of 'R&D—manufacturing—application—service,' establishing Tianjin as a national hub for intelligent robotics industry development and a demonstration zone for intelligent robotics innovation and application."
