The "2025 China Enterprise Competitiveness Annual Conference" was held in Beijing from December 9 to 10. Ning Guoxin, Chief Government Affairs Officer of Utour Group Co., Ltd., acknowledged that AI integration has gradually transformed traditional travel agencies into tech-driven entities. "AI's efficiency and precision in backend management far surpass manual operations, effectively resolving scalability challenges," he noted.

Regarding AI applications in consumer-facing scenarios, Ning shared insights from mixed outcomes: "Last year, we launched an Antarctic-themed VR experience initially targeting C-sector consumers. However, after a year, the results fell short of expectations. By pivoting to B-sector clients like corporations and schools for educational services, we not only received positive feedback but also developed multiple new themed products."

He emphasized that traditional travel firms' technological edge lies in their agility to design demand-driven content without ideological constraints—a key factor in B-sector success.

Analyzing the C-sector setback, Ning concluded: "Technological advancement outpaces some consumers' adaptability. Continuous R&D investments face mismatched market demand, making overly futuristic deployments difficult to monetize."
