Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) has announced its financial results for the full year 2025. The bank reported operating revenue of RMB 8,013.95 billion, representing an increase of 1.9% year-on-year. Net interest income amounted to RMB 6,351.26 billion, a slight decrease of 0.4%. Non-interest income saw significant growth, reaching RMB 1,662.69 billion, which is an 11.8% increase.
Net profit totaled RMB 3,707.66 billion, rising by RMB 38.20 billion compared to the previous year, equivalent to a growth rate of 1.0%. The average return on total assets was 0.72%, while the weighted average return on equity stood at 9.45%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was RMB 3,685.62 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 0.7%. Basic earnings per share were RMB 1.00.
As of the end of 2025, total assets reached RMB 53,477.773 billion, an increase of RMB 4,656.027 billion from the end of the prior year, marking a growth of 9.5%. This included total customer loans and advances of RMB 30,506.114 billion, which grew by RMB 2,133.885 billion, or 7.5%. Investments amounted to RMB 16,907.415 billion, increasing by RMB 2,753.839 billion, or 19.5%. Cash and balances with central banks stood at RMB 3,674.558 billion, up RMB 351.647 billion, representing a 10.6% increase.
At the end of 2025, key capital ratios calculated in accordance with the "Commercial Bank Capital Management Measures" were as follows: the core tier 1 capital adequacy ratio was 13.57%, the tier 1 capital adequacy ratio was 14.94%, the total capital adequacy ratio was 18.76%, and the leverage ratio was 7.51%. All ratios met regulatory requirements.
