In Pinggu District's Fuqian Street, a sprawling "Riverside Floral" land art installation spanning dozens of meters has made its debut. The beautiful artwork was crafted using pruned peach branches.

The street's horticulturists, Huang Jintao and Yu Yunle, spearheaded the design of these land art pieces. "Pinggu is known as the 'Land of Peaches,' producing a significant amount of pruned peach branches annually, which were previously treated as garden waste," Huang explained. They envisioned repurposing these local materials into valuable resources to create distinctive regional landscapes.

Under the guidance of the two horticulturists, volunteers from Binhe Street enthusiastically participated in sorting, cleaning, and disinfecting the peach branches before assembling them into artistic and eco-friendly installations. Through multiple processes, the branches were transformed into visually appealing and ecologically meaningful land art.
