Meitu Buys Back 2.60 Million Shares, Boosts Treasury Stock to 70.70 Million

Hong Kong-listed Meitu, Inc. disclosed a repurchase of 2.60 million ordinary shares on 23 September 2026, bringing its treasury-share balance to 70.70 million.

The on-market transaction was executed at prices between HKD 3.795 and HKD 3.875 per share, with a volume-weighted average of HKD 3.8381. The aggregate consideration reached HKD 9.98 million.

Following the buyback, Meitu’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.06% from 4.52 billion to 4.52 billion shares. Total shares in issue, including treasury stock, remained at 4.59 billion.

The transaction was made under a repurchase mandate approved on 5 June 2026, which authorises Meitu to buy back up to 454.86 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 33.17 million shares, equivalent to 0.73% of the company’s issued share base on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Meitu is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 23 October 2026.
